Hugo Chavez era muy interesante. Hugo tiene mucho influencia en Venezuela. Él utilizaba fuerzas militares para controlar Venezuela.  Por 1998, Huga tuvo completa de control. También él tenía mucho dinero porque petróleo. Desde él tenía sido en el poder él cambio cambiado en Venezuela mucho.  Or ejemplo, él hizo la duración de presidencia infinitamente largo.  Ahora, él esta furioso de Los Estados Unidos porque mataron Osama Bin-Laden.  Hugo decía “tu no puedes luchar el terror con el terror.” Es irónico por que Hugo constroyo su carrera en militares energético.  Para que él esta rodeado por pistolas mucho en las fotos.

In a large (12-inch) saute pan, heat oil to 325 degrees F. Peel plantains and slice crosswise into 1-inch pieces. Carefully add plantains to oil and fry until golden yellow in color, about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per side. (The oil should come halfway up the side of the plantain). With a spider or slotted spoon, remove the plantains from the pan and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, standing them on their ends. With the back of a wide, wooden spatula, press each piece of plantain down to half its original size. Then place the plantains in the water and let soak for 1 minute. Remove and pat dry with a tea towel to remove excess water.

Bring oil back up to 325 degrees F and return plantains to pan and cook until golden brown, approximately 2 to 4 minutes per side. Remove to a dish lined with paper towels, and sprinkle with salt, if desired. Serve immediately.

En el Grande Pan, calanta óleo a 325 grados. Tu esta pelar y cortar plátanos en uno pulgadas piezas. Añade plátanos a oleo y esta freír hasta marrón.  Quita plátanos en pan y puesto en la galleta hoja. Pulsa el plátanos hasta la mitad tamaño. Que Fresco.

En el Grande Pan, calanta óleo a 325 grados. . Añade plátanos a oleo y esta freír hasta marrón.

New Years for the Roman calender is celebrated around the world including Spain. Many people will celebrate it with friends and family and that is what creates the fun of the holiday.  Otherwise people will go Puerta del Sol with many people they do not know and then wait for the 12 chimes and once it is the new year they will go off to parties or clubs until. much later or into the late hours of the morning.  Finally one other way to celebrate is to go to a restaurant and for a fixed price a dinner with dancing will be included.

The new year is a very large party holiday.  For many people it is an excuse to go to some of the biggest clubs in Spain but at the same time other people will celebrate it for other reasons.  For example many people who want to achieve something will use the new year as a time to restart and time to start achieving their goals.  A great example of this is when I go to the gym after new years, there is a huge surge in the number of people there, but after some time this number recedes to the people who come regularly year round.

The other interesting thing about this holiday is that there are many different ways to celebrate it.  Some people will not even treat it like a holiday while others will stay up all night celebrating.  Many of the clubs that shut down during the winter will reopen for this holiday because of the masses of people that will come.  As well, many world renown DJ will play at these clubs during this time attracting more tourists.

Although this is not a tourist holiday, many people will come from far away for this.  Even so many of these tourist are on European tourist trips and their trips coincide with new years.  So most of the people partying will be locals and therefore the local hot spots are usually filled and it is a great time to explore the other restaurants in town.

Because it is new years it always falls on the same day and many of the people who celebrate it look forward to it like they would christmas. It is the type of holiday where many people will look forward to it but it will not be the highlight of their year. Overall though as a holiday it can be one of the biggest

We Are Our project for doing a soap opera. It is a spanish soap opera. Mine is about waldo Who runs away from the police. Then the police Finds him and a dinosaur eats them all.  I have enjoyed this part of the project because I got to edit the whole script and show my knowledge of spanish in this regard.
